Trump Nag-advise Na Gayahin si Duterte sa Kanyang Anti-Crime Strategy

President Rodrigo Duterte's controversial war against drugs has gained the attention of both local and international media. Some were vocal in criticizing him, however, some also believed that his violent methods were effective in freeing the country from the menace of drugs.
White House advisers of newly-elected US President Donald Trump seem to be among those who saw the good in Duterte's drug war.
According to an anonymous Inquirer source, the White House advisers suggested to Trump to "do a Duterte" in dealing with drug dealers, terrorists, and other criminals to lower the crime rate in America.
The source further noted that these advisers found Duterte's ways to be admirable. The anonymous source from California also believed that Trump was likely to do as his advisers suggested.
"Knowing Trump, I’m sure he will follow the advice of his advisers," the unidentified source claimed.
The advisers believe ever since President Duterte took office and waged his bloody war on drugs, that peace and order in the country have greatly improved. They believe this despite the numerous scandals involving members of the Philippine National Police and public trust in them declining sharply.
The source even shared that he believes the two controversial presidents would easily get along. He even revealed that President Trump allegedly invited President Duterte to his recent inauguration.
However, Duterte allegedly refused the invitation, saying he did not want to go to the United States.
The Inquirer's source has yet to be confirmed nor identified.
